My first au pair meeting is two and a half weeks ago and since then I found a bunch of awesome girls to spend my time with. After work we meet at Starbucks or at the beach, visit Chicago and the library together or just hang out, eat, talk. Yes, I was afraid that there are no girls I'd like or could get along with but, tbh, we're all stuck in the same situation: We are, in some way, alone here and everybody wants to make friends. So it went quick and at this point I got the best I could've wished for. Whenever anyone is free we text and one hour (or two, in case we can't decide what kind of beach we want to visit) later we chat, take 200 photos because Nancys Selfie-Stick doesn't work, sit down, listen to music, eat, enjoy some time together. Yes! A mix out of a french, a mexican, a german, a polish girl and two from Switzerland (and in the future an austrian and a girl from Finland will join us) is just perfect.
Oh and, besides, on one of our tours through the city I found the utimate car I immediatly wanted to buy, but then I remembered rule #1 for au poors: Save Money...
