The last weeks were incredibly arduous and stressful but it was worth it: I organized our Graduation and our Prom and woah it was awesome how perfectly everything went and I am so glad that everyone was happy. We danced until sunrise and enjoyed the last hours we spend as the Abiturientia 2017 together. At the end we cried a little bit and realized what it may mean: saying goodbye, not being part of something that big anymore. A strange feeling. I'm just a bit empty and super glad that I have a plan (29 days left btw!) for the future.
The future, first of all that is me being an au pair. But afterwards I want to study so I applied for Creative Writing and cultural Journalism at the university of Hildesheim. There was a huge aptitude test and they only take four to eight percent of all applicants but - drum roll - I did it, I'm in! It is now two years valid so I can matriculate next year and start it immediatly when I come back. I never believed in my chance and luck but well, what to say? I did it and I am so so happy about it.

So right now I finally got some time for me without anything more that has to be done for anyone else but me! Next week dad and I are going to buy my luggage and I'm going to see some friends and everything is very relaxed which I absolutely enjoy.
Further, in the whatsapp group where some nice people that depart the same day as me are in we exchanged our instagram accounts today and they all seem to be awesome human beings, I can't wait to get to know them!
xx, Elske
